I know what it means to persevere through trials and put God first. Looking for someone with the same type of mature perspective on living out their faith, including in relationships.
I'm a pharmacist, looking to meet people's needs medically, spiritually, emotionally, etc. I don't want to live for myself, and see the excessively self-serving consumer mentality and culture around us as unbiblical. I'm praying that I'll find someone on the same page, living for God and others, not themselves. I want to leave a legacy of truly faithful living that our descendants will continue in.
I want to love like Christ loves. I may not be a smooth Casanova, but I have my head on straight and will genuinely love you for life, through thick and thin, for better or for worse.
To summarize my testimony, I got saved very young. Then things got harder, and I had to learn to deal with tough things at home and at school. I got depressed, but God was faithful. He brought me out of it and showed me meaning and purpose in a life for Him. Since then, I've been trying to live for Him, doing things like taking time to be there for people amidst their own pain and struggles, counseling at a Christian camp, and volunteering at church. Looking to live a deeper life than the often watered down Christianity we see around us. And I will do so with or without a partner, but I'm praying God will bring along someone who values the same.
