I am a man who tries to live a life pleasing to God. While I believe that good works will not lead to salvation, I do believe that they are ways we can receive blessings from God, bring more people to God, and simply show how much faith we have. This is why I am a social worker and someday will be a minister. I have my flaws, but who doesn't? I work hard to keep them at bay, and that is all that matters. I write poetry, short stories, and essays, and I enjoy bicycle riding. I am a big fan of Irish music and German and Chinese cultures. The woman for me is a faithful Christian who attends a Bible-believing church every Sunday and does her best to please God more than the world. If someone quotes Scripture to her, she must say Amen and not try to trivialize the importance of God's Word. She must believe that Jesus is the ONLY way to eternal salvation. She must also be compassionate and tolerant towards those who tolerate her. She must not take tolerance or "open-mindedness" too far; in other words, she must detest political correctness as much as I do. Regarding politics, I would prefer a moderate, but those who are conservative or mildly liberal are fine too.

On an ideal date, the weather would be warm and the breeze would be gentle. I would take her to a cozy restuarant with candelight and good wine. Afterwards, I would take her to the opera or the theater. Then we would take a carriage ride around the city or take a walk where the scenery is unforgettably beautiful. I would take her home and go to sleep dreaming of when I will see her again.

I enjoy bicycling on the beach or on a path, and I love curling up to a good movie. When I am with others, I like playing board games or going to a pub and chatting it up over a good burger and a good beer. As long as people are not too obnoxious or overly sensitive, I crave discussing politics with others.
